One Extra SecondMonday, December 29th, 2008So apparently, an extra second is being added on to the year this year to account for minute inaccuracies in our normal measurement of time. This second is called a Leap Second, and will be added at the exact end of the year, this year. Apparently, Leap Seconds are normally added either on June 30 or December 31. I have two questions about this:

Frankly, I’m totally jealous. Please take the time to go and vote for Kim Crawford. Getting one of those awards is supposed to be a badge of shame, that in this case should be worn with honor.
