So, in spite the heavy bits being OpenGL (which is cross platform and has an excellent OS X implementation included on _every_ Mac that uses the OS) and in spite of every Mac that runs OS X coming with a 3D video card, there is no OS X version. Great.

OK, I guess I can undestand (market share, blah blah blah). But this makes no sense at all: “The following ATI cards are not supported: ATI Rage Mobility”. Because, when building a map program that can interface with a GPS system, you want to make sure that it won’t work on video cards factory installed on a huge number of laptops. Brilliant.
