NishNashI discovered this food delivery service, NishNash, while driving to work a few weeks ago. I’ve tried it twice and it works really well. What these guys do is sign up local restaurants that already offer delivery as an option, and they run an online menu ordering service for them. NishNash takes credit cards, and their website is pretty easy to use, is secure, and looks to use AJAX in its implementation. It’s one of those ideas that is so simple that you slap yourself on the forehead and say “Damn, why didn’t I think of that???” In any event, if you’re in the Boston area and are looking for an alternative to delivery services that charge high fees and take forever, I would recommend NishNash. |

Nishnash seems like a ripoff of foodler.com to me. Have you tried them both? I’d be interested in a comparison.
I like Nishnash’s double column menus, but otherwise Foodler seems much prettier. And I can’t tell whether nishnash they really know who delivers to me. I mean, just because a restaurant delivers to Boston or Cambridge, doesn’t mean they deliver to ALL of Boston or Cambridge. I bet most don’t really. I got burned by that a lot on campusfod, but foodler has always gotten it right once I gave them my address.

NishNash narrows the list of available restaurants down once you’ve created an account and given them an address. Never heard of foodler, but with only 3 restaurants that deliver to me via it, vs some 20 odd restaurants delivering trough NishNash, I would tend to go with NishNash.

Oh you got to be kidding. Its a total ripoff. They even have the same sentence formating as Foodler. And as for the restaurant count, its just not even a comparison. Just look at the map on foodler – end of the story. I have not used nish nash yet, might give them a try, but I have to say that from the user experience and choice of restaurants foodler is a clear winner. I’ve been ordering from them for over a year now and have never had a problem. I guess I’m a bit bias as foodler is a proven service for me, but I do hate to see sites that do not innovate but rather just copy.

Well, I’d never heard of Foodler before these comments here, but I do know that NishNash delivers from more restaurants than foodler does where I live in Waltham, MA. Not sure what you mean by “sentence formatting”.
