the key test of the correct answer to this question lies in being able to show up at a hardware store and ask, ” where are the ______ located”
They should then be able to point you in the right direction. As it is, rectangular cross section lengths of wood are scattered in 3 different places. Moulding, larger ones are next to the standard 2×4 studs, and smaller ones are next to the MDF panels.

I think it should be called a microbeam, or minibeam. It’s basically the same shape, just smaller.
