AT&T SUCKS

So when I first got my iPhone 3G, the 3G service worked well all times of the day. Then it only would work in the morning, but would stop working in the afternoon. I’d be connected, but get no data from it. But the phone would work fine if I switched to Edge. Then, 3G stopped working entirely, and I had to switch to EDGE 100% of the time. Now, even EGDE service yields no data. It would appear that AT&T has way oversold their network, and are not remotely equipped to handle the data requests of the iPhones they’ve sold.

Is anyone else out there experiencing this? Who do we talk to to get a rebate on our crappy AT&T service?

UPDATE: So after spending nearly 1/2 hour on the phone with AT&T and going through various phone menus to get to someone who can handle a data problem, they tell me that there is in fact a service outage. So I tell the woman I would like a rebate. She replies, “But I’m from Apple, not AT&T. I can’t do that for you. Would you like me to transfer you to AT&T?”

“Yes,” I reply.

I’m unceremoniously dumped into the beginning of the phone menu again, unsure of where to navigate myself to get to someone who both knows there’s an outage and can give me a credit for it. What utter douchebags.

For the 2nd time, my Samsung Blackjack II has died while travelling on business. We’re talking dead, this thing won’t even boot. The first time it happened I escalated all the way to the Office of the President. Resolution? They gave me the same phone again. Now here I am in another city completely disconnected from my family, my employees, email, calendar, etc. I’ve left multiple messages for the gentleman I worked with before only to have no return call.

I know what the answer will be when (and if) they ever call back. “Oh, you’re phone has to fail 3 times before we would consider replacing it”. Well you know what AT&T, the conference I’m speaking at on Tuesday is all about Driving a Positive Customer Experience and how in turn, that drives customer loyalty. Unless I hear from them before 2:15pm on Tuesday, Jan 26th, AT&T Wireless will be featured prominently in my speech as a classic example of how to do everything wrong! I’m sure that some of the 800 people I’ll be speaking to will be influenced by the story I have to tell!

I have let me start off by saying,4 Sprint phone as well as a Sprint broadband card for my laptop.Love em. I own DSG research & development here in Florida. as well as two other businesses. My promblem with AT&T/Go Phone. I spent the better part of 600-700 dollars on phones and air time that doesn’t work. 6 months ago,bought 6 phones plus airtime.When someone had to be on call or “reached” this is the one phone they would take and not shut off at night like thier personal phone. The phones were not used and service was complete shit. Anyways,cause air time was not used,we lost it,all monies paid and etc. Bought more air time,again didn’t use it,lost it,again bought more air time and was just told by AT&T that I need to buy a new sims card to reactivate the phone.I can buy a complete new phone cheaper and the time I just loaded on was lost. Hey AT&T,ad a couple zeros to what I lost,that is what you will lose. My research is in microwaves and EMPs I SHALL HAVE FUN so f#ck off,,,,,

I hate it my phone has broken 5 times under warenty and they just keep sending my the shitty phone and wont give me a new one

I HATE AT&T – they are the sorriest excuse for a company that has ever existed in the world! Why is it such a large company doesn’t have a customer service location where you can go to ask questions and try to understand WHY they keep overcharging you each and every month after they vowed to follow the signed 3-yr contract. They are TOO scared to meet the public due to all the lies they sell you on the phone. I have called repeatedly and held numerous hours on the phone trying to get answers to simply questions. You have made my life a living hell for the last 8 months, I have tried weekly to speak with a representative, left messages, begging for someone to please contact me to help me understand your screwed-up billing process and why you wait 10 days to post a check pymt to an account so that you can then add late fees. BUT no one has ever returned any of my messages. One million people currently out of work – half of them could go to work answering the damn phones. No one person currently working for ATT can walk and chew gum at the same time. If I could I would make sure they were out of business by the time the sun goes down today. They are horrible, lying, backstabbing, two-face, cheating, dumbass MF’s. I will do my part in killing their business with word of mouth advertisement.

Poor service!! dropped calls !!!Rude customer service>! Been with them since 1992 Bell South . Cingulat AT&T .. AT&T ruined them. Do yourself a favor stay away. We should get togather class action lawsuit>
