If you can, track down the original Japanese series from which much of the footage of Battle of the Planets was taken. ADV released it not too long ago under a truncation of its original title: Gatchaman (http://www25.advfilms.com/titles/gatchaman/). Hooray for graphic violence, profanity and transgenderism. And no fucking robot sidekicks.
