I had my pituitary removed over 25 years ago at the age of 32. It changed my life. I went from an energetic, active, people loving person, to someone who has very little energy & therefore does not have what it takes to be much of a people person anymore. Very hard to keep up with normal chores. Have had to let a lot of things slide. Dr’s didn’t give me replacement hormones (being a woman) & I wonder if that had anything to do with my lack of energy. Had to take cortisone replacement which made me violently angry all the time. Weaned myself off it after 6 1/2 years.
