Demerol – Michael Jackson

So Vaugn Burks put this video together. Looks kind of like Michael Jackson was singing about his addiction, but I’ll let Vaughn speak for himself:

I discovered this song many years ago when I bought this overseas release of Blood on the dance floor. The lyrics to the song are quite alarming. They talk about addiction to demerol and morphine and it seems that he was calling out for help even in his music but no one listened.

Dude, Demerol is wicked stuff. I just had ACL surgery and was shot up full of that stuff post-op, no thank you again. How Vothis guy was mixing Xanax, Demerol, Vicodin, and other nasty drugs is beyond me. I had to kick the Oxycodone after one day since it made me so sick.

This song is quite fitting, but what a strange dude.

it’s like his trying to say something what i understand about the song is someone wants him to take the drug, at first he didn’t want it but when he take it he started to like it and then his starting to be addicted to it…oh my, i just hope michael is at peace right now…
