iTunes HelpI need some help. So I decided to download and watch season 6 of Penn & Teller’s Bullshit last night. In the middle of downloading the season, we lost power. When the power came back up, I had downloaded 4 of the 12 or so episodes in the season. But the “Downloading” section in iTunes showed nothing left to download. When I went back to the iTunes store, it looked like it would let me buy it again, but did not seem to contain a prompt to resume an interrupted download. Can anybody help me with this? UPDATE: Figured it out. Go to the store menu and select check for downloads. It will resume downloads there. Tags: Interrupted Download, iTunes |

I’m over iTunes, I installed and updated version and now my Ipod will only upload 25% of my 2,500 songs (an error message now exists); I brought this to the Apple store and they had no answer other than they would give me 15% off the purchase of another Ipod by exchanging the one that has been working fine until the new version I installed. I’ve tried finding a patch or update from Apple, but apparently from what I have found on they web, I am not the only one but Apple will not provide any assistance or remedy for the error. I’ve now switched to Media Player and bought a Zune.

I was so going to explain how to do it. I had a similar moment some time ago and spent a few hours trying to figure it out.
I have a first generation shuffle that still works and still holds a charge, a first generation nano that I use for working out because I don’t care if I kill it in a sweaty moment of lifting frenzy, a second generation nano that I bought for my wife, a classic that I bought last year, and my iPhone. None of the devices has failed me, all of them worked with whatever computer or version of iTunes that I threw at them, and the only problem I ever had was with the shuffle–and I fixed that by first restoring it to its original configuration and then re-installing an update.
I know my experience isn’t everyone’s experience, but damned if I don’t love my Apple devices. My Xbox 360, on the other hand, has problems…
